In the shadows of looming trees, on the edge of a large cliff sits a black female wolf. Her body is large but her figure is sleak. She stands up, her movements as graceful as the wind. Her ears perk up at the sound of pawsteps aproching behind her. She spins around, her eyes meeting those of her daughter.
"Aspen.." She turns back to the view of the cliff. "What brings you here?"
The female wolf shivers, her frosty breath is seen in the air. "Nothing that brings happiness." She walks up to join her mother at the cliffside. "I fear something."
"Such as?" She questions.
"I fear change. It lingers here, waiting.. What for?" Her eyes are full of question as she turns to face her mother.
"For the propar chance to spring. For i have two felt it's presence. It knows what it wants. Change is coming..." She drops her head, then lifts it to the stars. "I am not sure what it wants, or who. But it will come for us. All of us. And we must be ready."
