Killers of the dawn

Waiting. Watching. Now hunting. Now sprinting after the heard of deer. Xorn creeps down low, it's just before dawn. The deer have no idea they're there. Xorn looks at X, waiting for the siginal. The males of the pack are not hunting today-they're teaching the cubs. It's Just X and Xorn. Finaly the siginal is given, they creep forward laying low, being careful not to be heard. Getting ready to pounce, a sudden flash of black appears. One. Two. Three deer are missing. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Disapearing rapidly, all done by a streak of black. The wolves look at each other with confused expressions. [i]Whats going on? All the deer are gone now, more black streaks fly by. Howls in the distance. Xorn and X race to aid their neibouring packs.
They arrive to find burnt dens and dead wolves. The alpha of the pack who is nearing death walks up to them. "Dem...Demons.." he hissed out his last words"Avenge usssss!"

"Demons?" X bared her teeth, "Seriously? Didn't we just finish with them?" With an angry flick of her tail, X padded forward and sniffed the air. She caught the scent of blood almost immedietly. "If we follow the blood trail we're sure to find them in no time."

"I don't know X. We don't know if their demons or not, I mean We've been called Demons before." she stared at X with doufghtful eyes, "But we know for sure that there are at least seven. But anything that could cause this much damege is definatly to dangErous to let live." Xorn picked up the scent, it led to the mountain where Assassin's organization was. "It leads to that damn organization again! I thought we were done with them!" And with that the female wolves left to go get the Males.

"I really don't want to deal with those bastards right now. The last time we did i was imprisoned and turned into one of them! These guys better be ready to get wooped." She spoke as the two ran along through the wood, X in the trees and Xorn on the ground. "And why don't they go and find some other super-powered wolf pack and bother their lands!?" X was somewhat annoyed.

He found himself covered in blood,some of his own and of others. He looked around confused as to what happened not knowing what he'd done. He noticed his claws were larger,then he padded towards a puddle seeing his reflection of a demon.

The two females reached camp only to find it deserted. "What the hell happend here?" X looked around the camp, finding the dens destroyed and sevral colts of fur matted with blood lying on the ground. She ran forward and dug around the remains of her den, finding the scent of some of the pack members. "They went through here. Probablly through the tunnels... Did the demons attack her for a reason? Or just out of fun?"
With a grunt, she barked a word of magic and the ground beneath exploded in a clowd of dust, leaving a large gaping hole into the den. "C'mon.." With that, she jumped through the hole.

He padded around and stopped abruptly to find Xiax. He padded towards him and looked at him. Without a word he padded off. (Sorry bad place for saying this,but <<< My avatar was made by Xiax,the drawing ect. But kinda hard to see XD)

(Oh that's so epic! Nice work Xiax! If you're reading this...)

X landed in her den. With her tail low, she crept forward until she found the passage that lead to the tunnels. She felt Xorn behind her as she crawled.
She knew the entrance was coming up now, but it was pitch black in these tunnels, and there wasn't enough space or air to create light.
"It should be right..." X felt around with her paw as she inched forward, but as she did, the earth beneath gave way and she found herself falling into blackness.

He looked up finding Toxic walk pass. He sighed and padded off as well.

"Noooo!" Xorn screeched, and latched her jaws around X's pelt. A little blood seeped through her jaws as she held on. She hauled X up onto sturdy ground. "You've saved my life too many times for me to let you die like that." Xorn and X peeked down in the hole and saw what was causing the comotion. It was a couple demons and Death? but there was not just Death but a drago not just any dragon but.... But..... Saphira? Xorn gasped almost loud enough for the demons to hear. X saw death a gasped a little, but it was obvios when she saw Saphira because she gasped louder than Xorn. Xorn passed on a silent message to X; But she's dead! She can't be alive!


(Srry to bring everyone back, i just wanted to make this more fun!! XD)

(lol. It's ok I guess. And did everone just do this gasping thing that's somewhat making me hungry? Sorry XD)

I realize that, thankyouverymuch! She sent back to Xorn. With a growl, she looked back at her friend. But where are Aspen and Fable? Did they manage to catch them?
With a little gasp, X's eyes went wide and she stood stright. Her whole body stiffined.
She could feel Xorn looking over at her with a 'What's wrong?' sorta look.
She quietly wined and shook her head, then scent her this:
The demon form inside me. From when Death captured me. It's acting up. If being in his presence is making it stronger, it might break free. And i don't think i could cnotrol it if he was around. It has a mind of it's own.

Let's go then. for now. Xorn saw the worried look on X's eyes, We'll come back for them I promise Just as they were leaving Xorn tripped and made a huge crashing sound. Xorn and X knew what was coming and ran, but not fast enough. The ground caved in beneath them, and they were swallowed whole by the crashing floor. The last thing Xorn heard was the cackling, too familiar sound of Saphira

X woke to find herself fastened to the ground, chains with a glowing aura held her down. She lifted her head to look around, but the only light there as shawn in through a small crack in the wall.
There were large, metal bars across one side, and the rest was stone bricks. The place was damp, with a musky smell. But X caught a very strong wiff of something else.
Blood.
With a wine she slumped her head down onto the ground. But then she noticed something she had not before. She wriggled her claws, then made a quick slap onto the ground with her tail.
This isn't my body... I'm not in my wolf form...
She looked down. And, through the dim light of what shawn through, she made out what her paw looked like. It was longer, and the claws and pads were changing, but it still had the form of her wolf paw. She cringed her neck around to look at the back of her body. Her tail had gotten longer and slimmer, but fur still dangled from it. With a gasp she turned her head forward one more. A wine escaped her when she felt her face. The top half of her head had little peices of bare skull showing.
I'm changing. The demon inside me is breaking free..
Lifting herself as high up as the chains would let her, she tried to get a better look of what was outside her cell. Across the hall, she spotted a lumpy figuire lying on the gound, moaning.
"Xorn!" She barked, her voice a muffled demon-like growl.
The figure tensed, then lifted it's head. But Xorn's eyes went wide when she saw the de-morphed form of X.

He growled as he walked only to find himself laying on the ground from pain.Now looking more like a demon,not knowing who he is,or anyone for that matter. He turned back and walked in that direction.

She growled and howled. The demon in the cage looked visous, and familiar. Wait, the DEMON in the CAGE?! She thought. She read the demon's thoughts and realized that it was X. She tried to speak out but her muzzle was bound with rope. She quickly snaps the rope on her mouth and the chains on her paws. That was too easy...

Sudderly a spur of black smoke apeared in the centre of the two cages. A massive black dragon followed by the goopy, bloody form of Death took up the space.
"Well, well, well." Feminine laughter errupted and echoed throughout the dundgen. The sleak form of Siphara was barly visible in the dim light as she laughed. "How've you been since we saw you last?"
A blazing ball of read fire flashed into existance on the clealing, lighting up the whole room. "Doing well I see." The rough voice of death boomed.
"Indeed." The black dragon spithered over to X's cage and looked down on her. "Yes, yes, indeed! You are doing great my dear! Much more powerful than before." She nodded, her smile widening to show rows of sharp, bloodstained teeth. "I have now seen the error of my ways. Those beast forms were foolish games. Death has shown my the power of the Demonica! And such power it is indeed.."
Death smiled back at her. "And Siphara had reviled to me the power of the beast. When we turn you all into the demonly beasts, you will destroy everything! And we will be the only ones left to rule over both of our worlds."
X, with the demon fomr inside her almost fully formed, growled; "You can't be alive!"
That got a laugh out of Death. "You can't possib;e kill me! My name is Death. I was shocked to find that you did't know I couldn't die."
"And what-a-about ..you?" She said, trying to hold back the beast inside before it broke out in the middle of the coversation.
The dragon's tounge swiveled in and out of her mouth. "You ever heard of Hell, dear?" She laughed. "Aparently the devil is alot more powerful than you'd think."

"Almost there!" Siphara stood over X, her orange and read markings glowing with power. "Why not just let the demon go? Let it spring to the surface! The pain will be gone, you know. You'll feel much better."
"Never!" X hissed.
"Well, your struggling. I know you can't hold it off foreaver. But why wait when I can have Death just force the transformation, Hmm?" A sick smile streched across her face. "In time. First, Death must start off with your friend." She gertured over to the other cage, where Death was standing over Xorn.
"This'll hurt a lot." He boomed.
Death put a hand on top of Xorn, and heat evaporated from it. Xorn let out a screach as her fir and skin began to bubble and change. Her claws grew and some of her fur melted away in places. X knew Xorn would be one of them soon. And that she too would be one.
"Death, would you mind forcing the morph for them both now? I want to see them suffer at the same time." Siphara licked her lips.
"Indeed."
Death lifted his other hand and pointed it at X. Searing pain errupted throughout her body. She immeditly weakened. She'd been holding it off for so long now, she was out of energy.
She relaxed, exausted, and felt the pain lessen a bit. But it moved along through her body, fully compleatig the change.
X could hear Xorn's screams and yelps, knowing that her friend was suffering from this aswell.
The thought was cut short.
Her body stiffened, then a warm sensation entered her brain. She could feel her mind and soul slip away, and then it was done.

(Xorn, I do't know what you want your demon form to be like so just..find A pic or something..?)

The shackles beneath X loosened, and she felt herself stand up and walk over to Siphara, who smiled at her. She looked over at Xorn, knowing she was not in control either.
"Siphara..? Would you mind rounding up the others in our exparament? Assassin and Xiax well be just delighted to see us again, don't you think?"
The dragon nodded and dissapeared with a puff of black smoke.

Xorn listened at the cackles of Saphira and Death, her top two enemies that herself X and Xiax had already killed in the past, yet they were right there. She couldn't control her body, but she could still think straight. When Saphira and Xorn's eyes met Saphira smiled wikedly. "Xorn it's been a while since I last controled your body, and let me tell you I have missed it!"
Xorn growled and hissed she still didn't know what she looked like. She looked at X and read her thoughts! That ment that The Sight was still working. She tried communicating with Assassin and Xiax telling them to run as far away from this place as possible. Just then Xorn saw a reflection of a horrible creature in the pool of blood. It looked kind of like her beast form with a fire demon combined. It was the hybrid they were talking about, Xorn's hybrid. (picture isn't up yet but it will)She gasped at the image. She got up silently and staggard. Saphira was just leaving to fetch Xiax and Assassin. But Xorn wouldn't let that happen. Death was talking to X and had his back turned. She took a step with a strange power within her beating the over whelming power of Death's and Saphira's power over her. She didn't bother taking another step, it would just take longer and more energy. She took a deep breath and lunged on top of Saphira.

X's body stiffened and she spun around, letting out a demonic growl. Xorn was on top of Siphara, raking her large claws along the dragon's back.
She braced herself to spring, going to help Xorn. But when her paws lifted off the ground, she found herself slaming into her friend.
Xorn tumbled backward and hit a wall, but quickly got to her feet. X bared her teeth and hissed.
What am i doing? Stop! She screamed at her body, but it disobayed. Sudden't the heat consumed her brain again, but this time it was less painful. The angred thoughts turned to enjoyment.
Smiling, she jumped onto one of the walls, then leaped off it and landed a powerful blow on Xorn's head with her tail. She spun around, digging her claws and fangs into her flesh.

(know it's been a while but...)


Xorn got up and leaped over her friend as X lunged again. She wasn't going to hurt her even if X was trying to kill her. X snarled and lashed a claw at her but Xorn dodged it. She was getting frusterated at X, but it wasn't X it was Death. Xorn considerd the possibilities of how to stop X. But only one of them would work. She cursed when she relized what she had to do. Xorn had to kill X or Death. But since Death was X. Xorn had to kill X. Tears welled up into her eyes as she thought of this. If Death died X died. If X died Death died. There was no way out of this. "This is actually quite interesting! Let's controle both of them and make them fight to the death!" Suddenly Xorn felt herself lose power as it now was in the hands of Saphira. Obliviosly Death nor Saphira new of Xorns theory. So if I die Saphira dies which would let Xiax and Assassin have an easier time because Death is easier to kill than Saphira! Xorn knew what she had to do. She stood there and let X take swipes at her, and all she did was stand there. Finally after about 5 minutes X was ready to make the finishing blow. X lunged and Xorn closed her eyes. I love you Assassin And then it went all black.

(I know that was confusing and long but o well I wanted to do something because I'm bored!)

(Lawl. Ive been waiting for someone to post on this!)

X stood back breathing heavly, the fleshy lump of her former friend lay in a pool of blood before her. Siphira the dragon had attached her life sorce to Xorn's, and she too was lying limp on the floor.
Death immediatly dropped his concentration and dove for his comrad.
Suddenly, the heat within X's head died out. She felt her powers errupt from within the pit of her soul. The demon body began to sink back down inside her, and her wolf form was realeased.
The first thing that escaped her lips was..
"Xorn!"
She sat down beside her friend, tears spilling out of her eyes. "Damn it, what have I done!?"
She spun around, anger filling her every fibre of her being. "This isn't my fault.. It's yours! You Bastard!"
X screamed the word. Blue sparks and fire errupted from within her body and slammed into Death.

Death. It's peaceful. Quite. Relaxing. Dark. But it's lonley. Constantly seeing faces of people and animals that have passed on before you would be depressing for anyone including Xorn. She had no idea how long she'd been dead but it felt like for ever. She was in some sort of lake. The wolf would float along in random directions, it depended on wich direction the tide was going. But the upside of things is that she could remember everything that has happend to her since birth even though she couldn't rebember it before. She saw her mother, her father and the rest of her original family and pack. Then her memories slowly drifted to the wolves who she knew as her brothers. Xiax and X-Blood. Everything passed nicely as she relived all her memories, the good and the bad. She kept reliving the good times with X, Xiax, herself, and Assassin. Also when she first met the shady, nice wolf known as Assassin.

Xorn A mysterious voice was calling to her from beyond the lake. From past experiences Xorn learned to no one unless she got to know them, but strangly she started to go closer to the voice. That's it Xorn come closer. When Xorn reached the surface, something pulled her out of the water.

She was sent spiraling into a doorway of shimering multicoloured patches. She appeared in a large castle that had pillars of moving creatures on them. Then without another moments hesitation the creatures started to talk to her. Hello Young Xorn, We Are The Old Creatures. We Are The Previos Inhabitantes Of The Planet You Call Earth. We Taught The Animals And The Humans All They know. But We Have Summond You From The Lake Of The Dead For One Sole Perpose-To save The Planet. We Could Have Chosen any Of Your Pack, but you were the first to die... The starnge creatures explain that our planet is about to be over-run with Demons and Beasts like no other, they will be stronger, bigger, and tougher then any other we've seen. They told Xorn that her mission was to tell the others what she has witnessed and stop the demonic beasts.
"If these things have evolved and we already struggle with demons, how are we supposed to stop them?" Xorn questioned the rocks expecting no reply. But then they spoke. We will give you a new form as well as your friends. It is a form like no other, no one can controle it except the wielder themself. It is it's own form, unlike how Saphira can controle the Beasts and Death can controls the Demons. We will grant this form to anyone of your pack that wishes to recive it. It is the form of the shadows! Xorn gasps at them eyes wide. How can it be it's own form
"Why do we have to save the entire world, why not just the animals? I mean we all hate humans, they have done nothing for us except kill us!"
[/i]Do not hate the humans. It is not our fault they're full of killing and hunting. It is in their nature to do that. That's how we created them.
"Ok, then one last question if you're going to bring me back that means Saphira will be back as well right? And how are you going to bring me back?"
[i]You are correct about Saphira, But for you're second question, When the world is in trouble the Gods will send heros to save the world, but those heros must choose to save the world or destroy it.
And with that Xorn disapeared through another doorway of lights.

Xorn woke up once again in the cave with the dazed Saphira. X and Death were in the corner, X on top of Death Clawing at him still in her demon form. X got thrown off of Death by Saphira as she finaly got up from the ground. X looked up to see what happend when she spotted Xorn. She immediatly smiled and read her mind of everything Xorn had learned. X nodded as Xorn activated the shadow forms. It was quite painless for Xorn actually. Her bones deformed and reformed until she was finished. She had no flesh. She was just bones held togeather by a dark shadow.
(X uhh u can describe your shadow shadow form same with Xiax and Assassin if your reading this I'll try to find an avatar for my shadow form.... So ya....)

(Tell me Xorn, what does this remind me of? XDD)
X flexed the mustles of her new form. Streching out and unseathing her claws. She smiled, looking up and locking her gaze on the dragon Siphara. She lunged. The dragon slung an orange fireball at X, but it mearly passed right through her body.
X's eyes gleamed with the ammusment of her new powers. Slashing out, she struck Siphara, blood spilling out across the cave floor.
