The Great Divide

Chaos trotted throught the valley. The sun beating down on his fur making him sweat more than a pig.

He stopped because he heard the erriest noise coming from -- everywhere!

Chaos closed his eyes and turned on fire. Then when he opens them,eveything starts to shake.

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

Slice jumps on to higher ground as the earth beneath him falls.

All his limbs fail after a couple of minutes as each second gets stronger and each second he gets weaker.

Chaos awoke. Everything around him was massive. What had happened was not natural. It formed an enormous canyon. Then as he got up,wearily, he walked around large boulders.

Night fell but he could not remember anything that happened that day.

The cold hard rocks surrounded her. Rocks falling from everywhere hitting her head and abdomin, making her bleed more than ever. Lunar opened her eyes slowly, trying to stand up at the same time. She was to useless and weak. Another rock from overhead slammed her tail, making her yelp loudly. Lunar was hurt, badly, and there was only one way to fix her. She looked around for holes in the rocks. Through one of the them, the bright moonlight peekd through. There was a fullmoon, which was the perfect time to heal herself. She stared through the rockhole and at the light, making her eyes glow auqa, and her body shimmering. A loud howl came from Lunars muzzle. All of a sudden, her wounds were quickly dissapearing. The blood was no longer stained to her thick fur and her tail had come back together. Once Lunar was fully recoverd she got up with no problem.
After walking around for a few hours, she was trying to figure out where she was and how there was nothing but big , cold rocks around. Then, she herd a howl. But not just a regular howl, a sound for help. She qiuckly ran towards it , her paws moving in a rythimic motion. As she got closer, there was a trail of blood underneith. Lunar fallowed it. She stopped and looked down at where it ended. There was a big stone, with nothing around it but a black tail at the end. It was Chaos, not moving at all.

Chaos squeeled as he notice his tail was caught under rocks. Everything was dark and--what was that.

Pebbles moving outside. And loud breathing...A wolf!

Was he here to attack me? Or to help me?

Who are you? Chaos said through the rocks.

The wolf talked stood there, kicking pebbles, or thats what it seemed since he couldnt see her.

He padded sulkingly across the borders of one pack frustrated as to what he is not knowing who he is. He sits down ears back head down thinking to himself then he hears cracks in the ground, then foot steps. Guess they wanna play a game.... He gets up dismisses his headband and continues on foot trotting along in search for the mysterious one.

Lunar started to glow , making her and Chaos able to see in the dark. She turned into a beautiful blue. "Its me, Lunar." She smiled "Are you okay?" Lunar walked up to Chaos. " I have no idea where we are!" She smirked.

Lunar!

Are you alright? Chaos said as he got up and shook his coat clean.

Woah its pitch black, at least we can see.

Chaos grinned and started to walk forward with Lunar.

Its strange, All the boulders. They're enormous and the moon seems so much farther away.

Chaos closed his eyes and he was shot back a couple yards away and he screamed.

Lunar!

Lunar ran back and stood in front of him.

We're in a canyon. A massive one. And we're between a war that is almost upon us. Chaos said with his eyes closed.

Lunar yepled and paced back and forth not knowing what to do. She stared into Chaos` eyes, " Well , my friend, we will have to eiether prepare to fight or find our way out of here." She walked over to the wall of boulders and tried to jam her way through. " There too close together." She looked at Chaos about to speak. But she was interupted. Her ears perked up. The sound of charging canines filled her ears...

"There Coming.."

Stardust opened his eyes and they glowed a vibrant blue.

He got up and started panicking.

What can we do?!

Lunar looked at Stardust pleadingly.

I'm Sorry I dont kn-

The charging instantly got louder as the warriors fell into the canyon and started to yell and howl.

Sawdust looked around and the warriors were approaching very quickly.

He closed his eyes and the blue glowed through his fur. He erupted into flames and instantly started growing larger. Lunar ran towards a boulder and hid behind it so she wouldnt get burned. The warriors approched and looked at Sawdust in awe.

They threw themselves at him trying to fight eachother but they all just caught fire and fell to their death.

The fire exploded in a line burning the earth in a symetrical line.

All the remaining wolves stood there.Frozen.

Sawdust fell to the ground and the wolves drew closer.

Then without thinking,

they charged.

Lunar watched as Sawdust fell to the dirt floor. She thought of a quick plan while charging at the other wolves. Her fur glowed in an auqa blue , flames coming out of her back. Lunar stopped and looked up, howling. The wolves leaped, almost scratching her. But it was too late. She made all of them turn solid. Into cold, hard ice making then unable to move a single limb. Now, was the easy part. Lunar skidded toward every warrior and hit the ice. There bones shattered, falling on the ground like broken glass.Once she was finished with everyone, she ran over to Chaos, with a worried look on her face.
"Chaos!" She looked at his wounds and paniced. "I don`t know what to do! Ive used all the moons light!" Lunar put him on his back and padded off hopefully able to find a way out of the large rocks surrounding them, and a way back to camp.

Chaos awoke with the suns ray peaking through cracks.

He got up and walked outside of a shelter made of boulders. He saw many wolves and instantly got worried.

Where are you Lunar?

Chaos closed his eyes and re-opened them. He saw an enormous amount of light coming from every where. Some wolves were dark and some were glowing because they were healers. Chaos approched every glowing one until he found Lunar.

Lunar, what are you doing. And where are we?

Lunar was healing another wolf that was badly hurt.

Chaos looked at the wolf and noticed that his entre side was filled with sand and pebbles.

Was that from the-- Was there a-- is this a--?

Chaos's memory flooded back. He fell back and closed his eyes. Images, sounds, feelings all coming back. Shots of of pain overthrew him and he instantly knew where he was and what had happened.

He was in a very hot valley when there was an earthquake, a very unnatural one. And there was a war last night, between 2 forces.


Lunar, we have to find a way out. Now!

As soon as Lunar was done healing the wounded wolf, she turned around and smiled at Chaos.
"How are you feeling?" She asked hom while walking at the same time. "All of these wolves were attacked before we killed the evil ones.. I have been trying to heal as much as a can. But some of them are just to weak." Her smile turned into a frown. "I didnt get a chance to kill all of them last night, some scampered off.. There was one in paticular who looked.. Kinda familiar. But I cant make the face out quit yet. Well anyways I`m going to go back and finish healing. There are somethat are burned badly. And it might take some time to heal" Lunar smiled, turned around and when to a big group of whining wolves.

Why had Lunar ignored me? Am I crazy? No,I'm not I'm not crazy!

Lunar! Chaos screamed helplessly into the crowd.

I guess I'll have to talk to her tomorrow.

Chaos ran back into the the rock shelter and fell asleep almost instantaiously.

He dreamt of the "earthquake" that had happened.

Was it true? Is that why there is alot of injured wolves? Or is that from the war?

Chaos had so many questions that could not be answered, but he knew something. If the earthquake really did happen, and they are really fair into the ground, then they have to escape.

Once Lunar was done healing most of the wolves she walked over to Chaos` den and woke him up.
" Hey! Are we going to find a way out of here or what?" She giggled and lightly kicked him in the side. She nodded her head as a sign for him to fallow her. They walked away from camp , looking everywhere for holes or openings big enough for them to escape. Lunar walked up to one part of the wall and knocked her paw on it. " Its hallow. Maybe we can break it down. Have any plans?" SHe stood there and stared at Chaos waiting for an answer.

Uhh yeah you can freeze it and then i smash it with fire.

But one thing wasnt right. Why was there a hollow rock? Is there more? Chaos couldnt help but wonder. Is there some sort of explosive in it?



Hmmmmm

"I don`t know. I guess I can freeze it." She had a frustrated look on her face. Lunar stared at the rock and froze it. " Okay. Its your turn."

Huh

Chaos stared at the frozen rock for a moment.

After seconds, darkness spiraled in front of him and turned a vibrant blue. It shot towards the frozen rock. As soon as the fire hit the ice Chaos and Lunar closed their eyes.

The only thing that you could hear is ringing and shards hitting the ground.

When the heat of the flames vanished, Lunar slowly opened her eyes. She saw the bright sun, a big hole surrounding it. She laughed and stared at it.
"We did it!" Her and Chaos ran out , finding there way back to camp.
