Okay this is more of a theory than a joke:
It is a law of nature that toast will always land butter side down. It is also a law of nature that a cat will always land on its feet. Therefore, what would happen if one strapped a piece of buttered toast to the cat, with butter facing upwards, and chucked it from a reasonable height?

Answer: Well the cat always has to land on its feet, but the toast always has to land butter (or spread) side down. Therefore, the toast-cat hybrid will stay revolving continuously in the air, achieving greater and greater velocities, until it collapses into a singularity and destroys the universe.
